Spike - Lancashire

Spike - Lancashire
Spike was taken into our foster care after his initial adoption saw him not settle well. He has been in the home of a retired lady who takes him on the long walks he loves, he has bonded with her and the daughter extremely well and loves a fuss and a cuddle. Spike would be best with a confident owner as he can bond so quickly and he will need to know who is in charge. The only thing Spike likes to guard most is his food and he will grumble if you go near his bowl. Out on walks he is a strong lad and again would need someone capable of keeping him close and to heel. Spike loves his ball and in his original home loved nothing more than to bomb round the field playing fetch. Although has never lived with another dog his best friend previously was a JRT who he just loved to be around. Spike is an active lad and would suit an active home who are used to being around large sheps.
