Meet the lovely Jet. She sadly finds herself back in rescue through no fault of her own
Adopted 2 years ago her adopters can no longer give her the care that she deserves and she needs her final forever home.
The volunteer was met by Jet who greeted her well, she didn't jump up but was friendlty and pleased to see her. She settled very quickly.
Within the home Jet is a delight. She is friendly and loveable. Thius changes when she goes out. She is dog reactive and this is shown apparently by lunging and barking. Sadly the owner has not worked on this and has never let |Jet off lead and always makes her wear a ,uzzle when out. Having seen a video in a training class of Jet I really believe that in the roight home this can be worked on. Whllst she has had 5 years of no socialisation in the right hands with a good trainer she can change. It may not be aggression but a lack of understanding on how to react when seeing anopther dog or frustration becasue she wants to say hello
Poor Jet is apparently not walked anymore. We urgently need to find this young lady a home where she will be loved and cared for and given the best.
Please don't overlook this gorgeous girl she will make a terrific companion with a little work
