This beautiful boy is Ami who is a 2-year-old entire male.
Ami is a very friendly but boisterous dog because he is not getting the mental stimulation or exercise that he needs to burn off all that energy because his owner works full time.
He loves being outdoors so being cooped up in the house all day alone is very frustrating for him.
He walks well on the lead and his recall is OK if he is not distracted. He takes treats gently and responds to basic commands.
His only issue is with strangers coming into the house when he barks and circles anyone new which is obviously his protective instinct kicking in. This will have to be dealt with sensibly, his current owner shuts him away when somebody knocks on the door. Once introduce properly, Ami is fine.
Ami doesn’t like crowds and will pull to get away.
Ami hates the vets and has to be muzzled.
He would be great for an active family with teenage children and would happily live with another dog. He has lived with a Yorkshire terrier. We don’t know about cats. He was brought up with horses ion his first home.
