Simba - West Midlands

Simba was rescued from Bosnia and brought to the UK by another rescue, sadly the person who was supposed to adopt him didnt turn up and a lovely lady offered to foster him whilst a new home was found. Sadly weeks have passed and so far no one from the original rescue has come forward so now we are widening the net and asking our GSDR friends to help find this gorgeous friendly boy a fabulous forever home. Simba was found in the freezing cold by the road side, it would appear he had a front leg deformity from birth, with veterinary advice the deformed stump was amputated and Simba is now coping really well as a 3 legged boy. He currently lives with other dogs who he gets along well, he can join in with play etc but obviously his movement is limited in terms of balance and he does try to get out of the way when play gets too much. Simba isnt known around children and he's probably best in an adult only home with a quieter routine although he definitely would like another dog to be with as he loves the company. Out walking he uses a harness and he walks really well on the lead, off lead he is good and has excellent recall. All in all this boy really is the most sweetest of dogs, he is kind and affectionate and with all he has been through just gets on with it! Our volunteer thought he was the most gentle soul he had ever met. If you can help find Simba his forever home please get in touch asap, he really will be the best shep you have ever owned.
