Poor Shona is looking for a new home as her previous owner is unable to look after her due to illness, he loves her dearly and this has been very difficult situation for them both. I'm certain Shona is missing him like mad. She's currently in kennels, so a foster or permanent home is urgent.
Shona maybe an older girl but likes to have a playful romp/bounce around, also loves a good roll and belly rub when out. She knows and responds well to basic commands and whilst out on walks she doesn't pull on the lead beyond the initial excitement when setting off or if she sees another dog. She doesn't seem phased bycyclists/runners/pushchairs/horses etc but wasn't too keen on a mobility scooter.
Shona is a lovely calm little lady who can be quite loving and keen to please when she has had the chance to get to know you and has gained your trust. On a recent GSDR walk she behaved very well around other dogs, though didn't appreciate too much attention, she accepted the majority she met.
