The lovely Sheba is 9 years young and through no fault of her own is looking for her retirement home.
She would like a home with someone / a family who just want to spend time with her, A nice cosy bed but most importantly a quiet home where she can relax and not feel as though she has to be on duty all the time.
Her present owners are unwell and have carers in, Sheba feels the need to protect her home and barks. She is put away when people come but this makes her worse. She will bark at anyone who enters the home, but if you sit down she stops and is fine, but if you move she starts to bark again.
Sheba is said to be fine with children but at her age we feel older calmer children would be better. She is also said to be good with other dogs but this was untested on the day of assessment. Sheba is unknown around cats.
Sheba walks well on a lead, she used to have a good recaxll off lead but due to her situation hasn't been off lead for dsometime. Sheba is not walked very often at present due to the failing health of her owners.
This gorgeous girlie really does need a new home, please don't overlook her just bbecause of her age
