This is the lovely Shanty. She has had a turbulent last few weeks. Unfortunately, her owner passed away and there was no next of kin, so she found herself in the pound. Well, her luck changed when she became part of the GSDR family, and went into emergency foster. We had no history on her at all, that said though what a wonderful girl she is! Shanty is currently in foster with a male GS. She absolutely loves him and other dogs that she socialises with on a daily basis whilst out with the dog walker. She loves her food and will sit and give a paw for a treat. She is very fit for her age and loves to run about . Shanty is very scared of noisy fast ,moving traffic, but will calm quickly with reassurance. She’s not keen on being groomed but isn’t aggressive, and starting to get used to it. She is clean in the house and not had 1 accident whilst in foster. Considering what she’s been through that’s pretty amazing... she is known as Shanty Star, because she is one. She had little doggy etiquette when she arrived, but is a very clever girl and learnt her manners within 2 days. She has a cheeky madam personality, that is infectious! We think she would be well suited to a home where she can enjoy her walks and then have a chill out. Her foster Mum and Dad adore her, but unfortunately are unable to keep her due to work commitments, so she does need a loving forever home quite urgently.
