Shane is a 3 year old neutered boy who is absolutely fantastic within his family home and happily lives with a female dog but outside he has no social skills and can be reactive to new dogs. He has been to dog training and can do the basics but he does get very excitable and easily distracted. Our assessor was met by a bouncy lad who was happy bringing in his toys and wanting to play and have your attention. Outside on the lead he was good but on meeting new dogs was reactive (our assessor walked him in a dogmatic head collar and he was more responsive). They let Shane off with two other dogs and Shane was beside himself with excitement and charging about trying to nip their back ends, going forward this will need more attention. All in all a lovely boy who loves human company but sadly still work in progress with his own kind. He is microchipped, vaccinated and neutered.
