SHAKKA - KENT

This lovely boy is a mere 8 years old we believe. Sadly his owner is in palliative care so we need to find this lovely boy a home without delay

The volunteer was met by a rather large hairy German Shepherd who gave him a sniff but was clearly more interested in going for a walk. They walked the local area and Shakka was a good boy, walks well on a lead and ignored everything. No dogs were seen but we have been advised that he really isn't interested.

Shakka is a very relaxed placid dog who is confident in his frame, he may not realise his size around small children and can be a little clumsy but there is zero aggression in this boy.  We don't believe that he has lived with another dog but he has been fine around the son's dogs.

In short a large hairy placid chap interested in his walks and quick to accept new people in his life, even if he is slightly aloof. He does know commands but will need reminding, and is now spoilt and overweight. Shakka needs a family who can give him some time and attention, and give him some more regular exercise to help shed a few pounds as we don't think he has had this for sometime.

A lovely all round boy who desperately needs a retirement home
