Shadow is a gorgeous 2 yr old black and tan entire male. His vaccinations are overdue and he is not micro-chipped. Shadow is still very much a puppy, not overly big but can be bouncy, and he does jump up. The basics are their but he needs further training, Shadow has not been to classes and he does pull on the lead, but he is good off lead and his recall is reasonably good. Shadow lives with 2 cats with no problems. We are told he is not good with people coming into his home and shows some aggression, but this was not seen by our assessor or her husband who were firm with him which is what he needs. Shadow did bark but soon settled when he knew treats were on offer and his behaviour was impeccable. He took the treats gently and he sat and gave his paw nicely after which he had a fuss and in return he gave kisses; he is a bit of a softy really. Shadow does live with children but because of his behaviour to visitors his owners feel that they cannot trust him and don?t feel confident that they have the skills to resolve this problem which is why he is being rehomed. Shadow will need an experienced owner who has the time to work with him. He is not good with other dogs, especially small dogs, probably due to a lack of socialisation, so he is not getting the exercise a young dog of his age needs. Shadow will need more socialisation and direction, and being a very fast learner, he will make someone a fantastic, loving dog.
