This lively young, bouncy girl is Shadow who is just 22 months old and a happy full of life girl but one who is in totally the wrong situation for such a young big dog. She is spayed and microchipped.
Shadow was very excited when our volunteer arrived and never really calmed down the whole time she was there. She loves fuss and attention and is clearly not getting the stimulation or exercise that she desperately needs. She especially likes a cuddle and a belly rub
Her owner is in his 70's, he acquired Shadow when she was only 11 months old but cannot cope with such a young, energetic dog. Shadow is also left alone a lot which is not good for this young girl. Shadow is pretty much left to her own devices although she was very responsive to our volunteer.
She has so much pent up energy and desperately needs more exercise. She gets very excited when she sees other dogs and just wants to go off and play so tends to go selectively deaf when called. She can usually be tempted back with a treat though. Shadow has lived with a cat but careful introduction to a new one is advised as she is such an excitable girl.
Shadows life is very surpressed at the moment with only a small garden and a few toys for entertainment. She will be a great fun pet for a young active family who will give her what she deserves.
Shadow comes as a highly recommended woofer. Our volunteer says she hasn't a bad bone in her and with just a bit of discipline you will have one wonderful family dog
Shadow urgently needs out as her owner wants to bring his grandchildren round and Shadow 'bowls the over'!!!
