Well hello gorgeous, meet Senna who is an 18mth old, black and gold, longcoat neutered male. Senna is a typical young male shepherd, bouncy and excitable.
Senna is usually good with other dogs although he can be a bit over the top initially, he is fine with older kids but might be a bit too much for young children unless they are used to big, bouncy, boisterous dogs. He will chase cats and he doesn't like the vets and tries to hide.
Senna barks loudly and gets very excited when visitors call but he soon calms down when ignored. Like most young sheps, he does still chew sometimes if given the chance so he has been crate trained. Senna loves the car and behaves really well when travelling and doesn't need to be restrained.. Senna knows all his basic commands and walks well on a head collar.
Senna is a confident dog with bags of personality. He loved meeting our volunteer after the initial barking, he was intensley curious but very friendly and soon discovered the treats in the bag.
Senna will be a fantastic companion for a family with experience of the breed.
