In our assessor's own words 'what a stunner of a dog - I'd snap him up if I had room'.
Due to his owner's long work hours Seal is not getting the time spent on him that a young GSD should, he has no routine either for feeding or exercise and has little in the way of mental stimulation so Seal is a bundle of pent up energy with no ways or means of channelling it.
Consequently he is a boisterous dog. He was initially strong on the lead when our assessor walked him but quickly settled when corrected.
Our assessor took time to play with his Kong with him and teach him 'hold' and 'leave' and commented that he is bright as a button.
Overall Seal is just a huge puppy with few manners as he has not been given boundaries. He will with work make the right person a dog to be proud of.
