Scrappy is a 5 month old male who is in his 2nd home already. The owner is unsure what he is crossed with but we would say bull/staffie cross.
We have carried out a dog assessment to help this young pup find the right home.
When our volunteer arrived to carry out the dog assessment, she was greeted by a scared pup. He was lunging on the lead and did nip our volunteer’s hand.
Once he calmed down in the crate for 15 minutes, he was let out and he was happy to see our volunteer. He would sit and give his paw for a treat.
He has lived with two huskies in the previous home.
He has been around a 3 year old child and is fine apart from sudden movements then he gets scared. We recommend older children.
He is a sweet pup who needs a new home ASAP as his current owner can no longer look after him. He will need basic training and learn how to walk on a lead. He is reactive to people and dogs outside the home but that’s down to him being young and the lack of socialisation. This could easily be address by the right owner.
