This young lady is sadly a victim of circumstance. Her owner has gone to universtity leaving her with a family member who has no confidnece in owning a dog like Scarlett. To that end she has been placed in kennels until a home is found
The volunteer found a very sweet young lady who greeted her on 2 paws with a big kiss. This has never been worked on so she feels that it is a necessity to jump up to say hello. No aggression just excitement .
Scarlett would be fine to live with oldr childen but would prefer to be an only dog as she needs some work in this area. She doesn't listen to a word the owner says but with calm confidence she lisytened to the volunteer.
She needs work on her socialisation with other dogs and her lead manners, she has shown NO aggression. Scarlett is definitly ball focussed but not really motivacted by food.
