SCAR - LONDON

This boy is a mere 8 years old and finds himself looking for a nerw home,. Sadly his owner died and his owners daughter made the decision to bring him from Italy to live with her in London. Sadly due to her circumstances she feels that she doesn't have time for him and wants a better life, with someone that can spend lots of time with him

Scar is a calm boy, fearful of loud noises. Protective of his home environment but happy to see people. He needs to be the only dog in the home as not keen to share his space with other dogs.

He is fine with children of all ages.

He is unknown around cats (so we would say NO to them)

The volunteer met Scar in a park and this is what he said......

When he came into the park Scar was relaxed and taking no notice of dogs or people who came close to him, Scar was not pulling unduly on the lead. I watched him for ten minutes while he walked around the park, he was calm and relaxed but scar did scan other dogs when they were about 40 feet away, he would stare at them but showed no signs of aggression. When dogs did come close to him he would warn them but not follow through.

It was easy for me to take the lead and walk him, he is food motivated so it was easy for me to manage him. He was calm, friendly and interested in me; I put him through the three Ds , he picked up on that really easy so he is trainable. He was got to be used as a guard dog so he has not been played with but I managed to get him to engage with me after a few minutes. Scar has no guarding issues, he is friendly, curious and well behaved. I have seen videos of Scar with young children but they were in supervised environments.

Can you offer this lovely boy his retirement hone? If so please get in touch
