Scar - Athens

Scar - Athens

Scar is around 3 years old and has spent the past 2 years of his life in a shelter in Athens. Thats almost his whole life locked up.

He was found wandering the streets a little over 2 years ago, was taken to a local shelter but no owner ever claimed him. The shelter he is at is small, and crowded. He only gets to be out of his cage about 2 times a week as the volunteers running the shelter are very few and have a big workload with all the strays under their care.

Still, they try their best and will not give up on finding Scar a good home!

He is reported to be good on lead, good with females but needs proper introduction with males. He's also good with humans and kids!

We don't understand how for 2 whole years Scar had no luck but we are hoping this will change.

Scar is being helped by a German Shepherd rescue out in Cyprus where large breeds are generally not treated very well and often spend their lives on chains. The rescue will raise the travel funds to bring his to the UK but there will be the normal adoption fee which will go back to their rescue so that they can help more dogs like his.

He comes with an adoption package which means she will be spayed, microchipped and vaccinated.

Dogs like Scar really have very little chance of a good life out in Greece. Can you offer this lovely boy a chance?
