Sasha - West Yorks

Sasha - West Yorks
Urgent home required for this very special Old lady, she should not be in kennels it’s a crying shame and it pulls at my heartstrings every time we have to put her back.

Sasha is 12 years old and has spent what we know the majority of her life since she was 2 living in a shed. For the last year she was tied up as she wanted to escape, I wonder why. Although she is deaf and 12 years old, she is actually quiet an amazing lady, she is full of life and constantly is wanting to cuddle into you. She has an amazing temperament with people and is great around children.

We did manage to get her a foster home, but unfortunately she came back into kennels as she got very bossy and attacked the other bitch in the house. Although she got on great with the resident male. This is what her foster mummy had to say about her :

She came to me in foster on Good Friday, she was thin with some muscle wastage but we loved her instantly. Desperate for love and security she followed me everywhere but to escape when she could, it was in her mindset. She loved my 4 year old male gsd and found the strength to play a little. Deprived of a regular supply of water she would carry the bowl to me when empty! She and my 14 year old Gsd bitch tolerated each other and went for little walks together.

She was friendly to visiting dogs but disliked strange dogs outside. She does not like cats. Great with children and was settling in nicely, had her season but then started attacking my old female, gave her a few chances but attacked her in the night and i could no longer keep her.

She can be left, does not chew and is housetrained though we had the odd accident. Please consider her, we had hoped she could spend her remaining time with us, her needs are few and you will be well rewarded with cuddles.
