This lovely young girl is Sasha who is 2 years old and spayed. She is a medium sized girl.
She barks when people come to the door but quickly settles down and they she is very fussy but seems more male orientated. She lives with a young toddler with whom she is fine.
Although the female owner has trained Sasha to a degree, but her partner has untrained her and she sees him as the boss and takes over in his presence.
Our volunteer noticed that Sasha was very jumpy with sudden or loud noises and that she also showed a tendency to chase her tail which the owner dismissed as an itch.
This poor girl is being left 9-10 hours every day with only a tortoise and a canary for company. This is almost certainly the reason that she is tail chasing so she needs out of her current situation asap before this becomes a more serious issue.
Sasha needs company and stability which will soon bring out a very clever and very pretty dog.
She does respond to clear commands most of the time.
We think Sasha needs a young active home where there is someone home most of the time.
