Sasha is sadly being re homed due to a sudden disability in the family, the main carer has tried to keep Sasha active by using dog walkers but feels this will be unsustainable long term and Sasha so loves her exercise and outdoor activities.
This is so sad as the owners have spent a lot of time and patience getting this young girl settled into their home to become a much loved family member, they've also invested in weekly training sessions to socialise Sasha and help her be more relaxed when passing other dogs (she is vocal not aggressive) and high value treats easily distract. Sasha walks well on the lead and absolutely adores human company, therefore someone who is working from home/retired would be perfect for Sasha.
September update...
Our volunteer kindly looked after Sasha for a few days and had this to say about their time together. "Sasha was an absolute star - she is such a love bug! Travels really well, was a superb house guest and yes she can be vocal when she sees other dogs but once passed them she forgets and carries on quite happily. Sasha loves humans and was fussed and praised by everyone she met - whoever gets to give this girlie her new forever home will be a very lucky adopter".
If you are an experienced GSD owner and feel Sasha would be the perfect fit for your home. Please have your home check in place and contact your Area Co Ordinator for further information.
