This absolutely delightful older lady is Saffron who according to her passport is 10 years old.
Life has not been good to Saffron, she has probably never had a home of her own where she was loved and cared for.
She finally ended up in a horrible kill shelter where she was frightened of all the other dogs who bullied her as she was an older lady.
She was thrown a lifeline and travelled to the UK where she is hoping to find somewhere nice to retire to. She won't make many demands because she truly is a kind and gentle dog.
Her ears have been very sore as has her skin thanks to a flea allergy. She is being treated for these and her skin has much improved but her ears are still sore. The rescue will make sure that those are dealt with to make her comfortable.
Saffron was a cute little puppy a long time ago but we think she is still cute and that she deserves her retirement home.
Saffron has much to shout about, she is happy to be safe but needs a retirement home
