SWEET SADIE
Sadie is being rehomed through no fault of her own. Her owner's ill health prevents him for giving Sadie the attention that she needs. She loves to go on long walks and he can no longer manage this. Sadie is still a young alert girl and he wants her to have a better life than he can give her now.
Our assessors found Sadie a very sweet girl. She barked when they arrived at the house to alert her owners but there was no aggression. She was very relaxed and sociable with them and they described her as a 'gentle soul'.
Sadly Sadie has not been walked for some time and this showed in her lead work. She was enthusiastic to go and is strong on the lead. Apparently her recall is said to be good, but was not tested. Sadie was not reactive to traffic but we are told that she is to other dogs. With regular exercise and training, however, our assessors thought that it would be possible for her to easily relearn what she once knew.
Otherwise Sadie was obedient, responsive and affectionate in the home. Will you give sweet Sadie another chance of happiness?
