Sadie is a 6 year spayed blue and tan bitch. This lovely girl came to the rescue last year where she would cower away from strangers which was hardly surprising as she had suffered a fractured skull from being hit with a baseball bat in her prior life. However, she barked at our volunteer and was friendly, gently taking treats from him. Sadie can be strong on the lead but recall is fairly good. Sadie had to be rehomed as her new owners were having to leave her for longer periods of time due to a change in circumstances and she suffers from separation anxiety. Unfortunately, Sadie only lasted 24 hours in her new home. Despite having been very playful when meeting her new family's male, once in the home she became dominant which was upsetting their lad and they felt she was being aggressive. Sadie went into emergency foster where I am told it is not aggression, as we suspected, she just needed some clear behavioural boundaries and a couple of days to settle with her new housemates. Sadie is a lovely girl but just needs leadership. Now in long-term foster, Sadie is happily playing with the other dogs and it is clear she has not had much play socialisation with them and doesn't seem to understand toys either. She has totally ignored foster mum's cats. Can you please help this poor girl find her forever home once and for all?
