Sabre is a very large and good looking dog. He is 4 years of age. On arrival Sabre was quite nervous of our volunteer and not sure whether to approach him. After a short while he did decide to introduce himself. He was very friendly and took treats in very gentle manner. Went for a walk and at first refused to go. After some coaxing he walked quite well and did not pull at all. When back in the house he certainly showed his true colours. Wanted to play and also let our volunteer fuss him. With the right handling and training Sabre will be an excellent companion. At present he does live with another dog called Buddy. Unfortunately, Buddy does try to dominate him which he does not like - and on occasions has retaliated. In the main though he does get on well with other dogs. Owner is working long hours.
