Sabre is a beautiful young boy, who is generally well-behaved, but needs further training. One of our volunteers worked with Sabre and stopped his mouthing and showed his owners how to teach him some manners, including walking to heel, which the dog was happy to do. However, his owners have not been consistent with him, as a result of which he has started mouthing again and they say he is becoming protective. Sabre needs an experienced home, given which he will be a good family dog. Given his current behaviour we would not rehome him where there are small children. He is vaccinated and neutered.
