Sable - Devon

Sable is a 2 year old, 30 kilo bouncy young GSD. Spayed, microchiped, vaccinated. UK vet checked. Black and Tan short coat.

Sable was saved from a shelter after being starved and then dumped. In the 3 months Sable has been in her foster home she has learnt to sit, give paw, lie down, wait, walk on a harness & lead and has amazing recall, even when she is thinking about chasing a bunny.

She adores rides in the car and being brushed and rub-downs with a big towel after walks.

Sable has met cats and not shown aggression, so could possibly live with a dog savvy puss cat. Sable currently lives with large male dogs and she loves to race about the garden with them and chase balls. We don’t think she was socialised with dogs as a pup and is doing well when meeting them on walks. She is unsure about small barking dogs and further socialising will be needed.

Sable does not seem to have a nasty bone in her and loves to snuggle in close for cuddles – she will sneak up on the sofa for tummy rubs. She seems to like most people and seems unfazed by squealing children or push chairs but due to her young age and bouncy nature she would probably be better living with older children.

Sable is the most wonderful young lady with immense potential who would love her forever home to be in Devon so she can continue to play with her friends, attend group walks and possibly come for her holidays.
