Rusty

Meet the absolutely gorgeous baby Rusty whose nearly 8mths old and is urgently looking for his forever home

Rusty is the product of an accidental litter and is the last pup left in the house

Rusty currently lives with two other dogs and 2 cats so he could share his home with other animals but would ideally like a home whose going to put the time and effort into his training

Rusty hasn’t really been walked and hasn’t ventured past the garden so he was very nervous when our lovely volunteer took him out

This would need to be worked on gradually where he was taken to parks initially and not taken to built up places where there is lots of traffic etc

Rusty did pull on the lead a bit and was ok with passing traffic but showed signs of nervousness which is down to him not being taken out so everything is new to him

Rusty did bark when our volunteers came to see him, he took treats gently and loved the chicken

He showed no signs of high excitement or jumping up but we suspect he would puppy mouth if he wanted attention

Rusty is quite laid back considering how young he is and paid no attention to the cats when they came into the room

Rusty really is a very loving, gentle and laid back soul, he will be a wonderful family addition as he has the intelligence to learn

He loves playing with the ball which is an excellent tool for teaching recall and will be something Rusty will need to work on

Rusty could live with children over 8

Lived with cats

Could live with dogs of similar age or would love a home on his own if the adopter was able go be with Rusty a lot of the time

He really hasn’t had the best start but is such a little sweetheart who has so much to give
