Rusty

Rusty is in need of an urgent foster or forever home. He is in grave danger of being shot as his elderly owners cannot keep him safe as their garden isn’t secure and Rusty has sadly gotten into the field and mauled a sheep.

Rusty is 3yrs old and is currently entire

He’s a beautiful KC registered boy who greeted our volunteer excitedly and was quick to sit and listen to commands with the aid of some turkey

Rusty is an affectionate and loving boy who has great potential and will make a wonderful companion

He will need some training and responds well to firm instructions

His recall isn’t great but that is because his owners haven’t been firm enough, he does attend training classes every week and enjoys that interaction

Rusty is excellent with the dogs he meets at the training class, he doesn’t like dogs off lead coming up to him when he’s on the lead

Rusty has not been around young children but could live with over 10s

Rusty has never lived with a cat

Rusty has so much love to give and will thrive in a home where the adopter has previous GSD experience and has the time to make Rusty the great boy he could easily be.
