Rusko was originally in GSDR's care back in 2013 when he was just one year old, he was lovingly re homed but sadly the male owner has passed away very suddenly and Rusko has taken the loss of his dad very badly and his mum just isn't able to cope. Rusko now finds himself back in kennels where our volunteer went to meet him and take him for a walk. His thoughts were "seems to be a really nice boy. He is big and strong on the lead initially but soon calms down and he knows all the basic commands. He is very friendly and will make a great companion for any new owner. According to the kennels he walks past other dogs with little or no interest. Whilst I was walking him back to the kennels through the stable yard he did bark at a horse but no aggression and just walked on by. I cant see any issues with him - lovely boy!" Rusko in his previous home was very much his dad's boy, he was taken for long walks and in the garden enjoyed playing with the bubble machine and adores playing ball. Rusko regularly went on UK holidays and loved everyone he met, all in all a fab dog. The loss of his dad has made him very sad and we are currently looking for an urgent foster or forever home as Rusko needs some definite TLC after his loss.
