Handsome 2yr old Ruger is a blue, neutered male. He is vaccinated and microchipped. Ruger is good with children and good with cat, he lives with two cats at the moment. Ruger will need work on his socialisation skills as he isn't great with other dogs at the moment.
Ruger hasn't had the best start in life, his current owners took him in at 9 months old and were his third owners. Ruger was originally kept in a crate 24/7 for the first year of his life, only coming out at weekends! Unsurprisingly this lovely lad does come with his fair share of issues. He suffers from extreme separation anxiety and will need fairly constant company although he does like the security of a crate and can be left crated for small periods without issue. Ruger becomes anxious after being left for 15-20 minutes and if not crated he will urinate and defecate. Ruger cannot currently tolerate anything other than a bowl of water in his crate, he will destroy any bedding or toys left in there.
Ruger is also very anxious outside of his home environment and will need a home who can give him the time and patience that he desperately needs to build up his confidence, socialise and nurture him. This stunning lad needs a new beginning with a committed owner who isn't going stumble at the first set back.
