Here we have Ruby a 6/7 years old bitch. She was initially rescued by myself 6 months ago. She had been through quite alot at that time as she was abandoned and at a guess had been treated quite badly. She was in a pretty sorry state, underweight and needed to be built up slowly. It took time for her to wag her tail but she has gradually built up confidence and her personality has come through.
She is a lovely natured dog, she just wants to be in your company. She is great with children and gets on well with my cat. She is good off the lead and will come back to call but she can pull on the lead at times but will stop when told. She used to be wary of other dogs but her confidence has grown and she will play. She will only bark if another dog is showing her aggression. She is upto date with her vaccines but is yet to be spayed.
I have recently learned that I am allergic to Ruby's fur. Also coupled with me working full time, my husband working away and my son now doing afterschool sports, Ruby is being left for long periods. I have taken the heartbreaking decision for her to be re-homed to a new forever home. She needs to be with people and loves going for walks. I feel it is unfair of me to keep her due to the hours I am now working.
She is beautiful, lovely natured, a loyal companion and will quickly fit in with family life.
