Our volunteer found Ruby to be a very happy, friendly girl, if a little excitable, as a result of which she occasionally knocks over the owner's toddler. We think the excitability is due to the fact that she is not getting out much
She walks well on a lead and does not react to passers-by; she knows basic commands. When out with our volunteer, she did not meet any other dogs, so we can't comment on her reaction to them, but her owner told us she gets overly excited.
We feel sure that, in a home where she is given the attention she craves, she will be a nice family dog
