Ruby has been taken into emergency foster care after the sad passing of her owner. The family werent able to find any veterinary records for Ruby but they say she is 5 years old (we can now confirm Ruby was 5 on 28/3/23) she was the absolute love of her owners life and treated like a princess.
Ruby has been in foster care with a lovely chap who is making Rubys' transition as stress free as possible. He has visiting family and found Ruby to be most accepting around all visitors including the children. She is a very affectionate girl and loves a cuddle. She is pretty strong on the lead but settles, a little difficult to say how she is with other dogs as this appears hit and miss i.e. if dog runs to her she reacts but if walking quietly she will pass no bother. Off lead she has great recall and is loving her walks down tow paths and local woodland. She loves the car and travels brilliantly. Currently on a diet as she is a rather large girlie!
We are looking for another home where Ruby would be the only dog and have company throughout the day. Someone to give her a loving new home and treat her like the princess she is used to.
