Rosie - Hereford

Rosie - Hereford

Meet our very sweet Rosie who is 4 months old. Rosie had a very bad start in life as she was born during a cold dark winter, in a dreadful public animal shelter where dogs are not looked after properly.

Rosie was showing signs of rickets when she came to the rescue so she needs to take calcium / phosphate supplements and her diet must include foods rich in those minerals. Foods such as cottage cheese, goats milk, pilchards, sardines and chicken containing minced bones. She will also benefit greatly from sunlight.

Rosie is quite shy with people but in all other aspects, she is a typical mischevious bouncy puppy and just wants to play, eat and sleep.

Rosie came to the rescue with 5 other puppies with whom she is good friends. The other puppies like to bite her ears!

We think Rosie may be a Carpathian Shepherd cross, she will be a medium to large dog when fully grown. She has a very fluffy coat at the moment

An ideal home for Rosie would be an active younger family as she will need lots of exercise as she grows up.

Rosie is fine with other dogs, she just wants to play.

Rosie needs to start basic training now includiung how to walk on a lead. Rosie also has her own passport
