Rocky was handed into the pound by his owner: His skin was in a dreadful state but he has since seen the vet and been given medication for this.
Currently in fostercare, Rocky is a a great dog once he gets to know you and has your trust as he can be wary of strangers and strange dogs, he gets on well with the fosterer's dog and most bitches but can still have some outbursts with male dogs.
He can get a bit strong on the lead but with check training he is walking nicely to heel. His recall is fab 99% of the time unless distracted!
Rocky's fosterer says that he is so affectionate and loves to give kisses and cuddles and is playing more and more, he loves his bed and his teddy. He loves going on car rides and sees every open car door as "yey im off on a trip" so he has to be kept on the lead around cars that he is not supposed to get in!
He loves treats and dinner time and will let you know when he is hungry by slighty crying and running around in a circle which is very cute, he is also very smart when it comes to food we have had to lock up the food as he can be very opportunistic and will take his chances but I think this was because he was very under weight when he arrived with us.
He is very gentle when taking treats (and then snuffles your pockets to look for more!) and loves being out and about.
Rocky is a real character who needs an experienced, patient owner with whom he will be a very loyal dog.
We will miss him very much when he finds his forever home, he is one in a million and is just beautiful inside and out, I hope that he gets the home he truly deserves and his new family will fall in love with him as much as we have he is just lush even with his little quirks.
