Rocky is a bit of a nervous soul and will require a patient and experienced owner to get him through some of his issues which stem mainly from experiencing new things i.e. fine if he knows you and lovely dog around his own family but any stranger coming to the home he becomes defensive and stressed, outside on a walk he calmed towards our assessor but once approaching the home he became a different dog and returned to his nervous barking ways - he is under a behaviourist to help work out his issues but as a new baby is due current owners fear that having less time to spend with Rocky will only exacerbate the problem and reluctantly he is to be re homed. Rocky is muzzled when out (due to his unpredictability with strangers) but happily plays off lead with other dogs and enjoys his walks in the park. If anyone has experience of nervous dog behaviour and thinks they can help settle Rocky into a new home then please get in touch, it would be better to re home Rocky to an adult only home whilst his confidence builds. Rocky is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
