Rocco

This boy is mega urgent - he is being left for many hours which is totally detrimental to Rocco

Please please can we find him a home

Meet the handsome Rocco who is nearly 6yrs old and entire.

Rocco is a GSD x Malamute and has lived with children aged 7 and 10.

Rocco is left for long hours bless him some days more than 9hrs so it’s perfectly natural for him to be excited when our volunteer arrived to see him, but with treats and firm instructions he did calm down, he was eager to play ball and have some attention.

Rocco has been in three scuffles with other dogs while off lead, the owner wasn’t sure which dog started it.

He will meet dogs fine on the lead but will jump up to greet strangers if allowed, sadly our volunteer didn’t meet any dogs to test this while out so we feel it might be best Rocco is the only pet but we would consider a home that has a laid back female but this would depend on meets.

We feel if Rocco had more stimulation and regular exercise he would be such a wonderful companion, he is food oriented which is great for training.

He has a high prey drive so no small furries.

This lovely boy just wants to be loved but with his others relationship ending Rocco is spending a lot of time on his own and is really sad.
