Oh my, Ronnie and Reggie only 10 months and 8 months and they were both booked in to be PTS … I am not going to dwell as that is definitely in their past and their lives will Never be at risk again, now they are under our wing.
Ronnie, the most confident one and although he is a cross, I could not leave him behind. Far to young to have the responsibility of looking after Reggie, but looks like this is the role he had taken on. Such a friendly happy boy, always happy to see you and take him out for a walk.
Reggie, very noisy in kennels and does show signs of kennel guarding, although when he is out he soon settles down. Reggie needs a laid back dog to shadow him, he is not as confident and unsure on how to react in certain situations. I do feel that they both have not seen much of the outside world, or it could just be that they have been thrown into a very strange and hostile situation, as although they are now safe… kennels is no place for any dogs especially when they are young.
Don’t think either of them have had much lead training, as both pull… although this will be easily rectified with some consistent training.
