This young lad is currently advertised on the free ads as the owner has no time for him.
Reggie is a 3 year old entire boy who is vaccinated and microchipped.
The volunteer was met outside of the home. Reggie was pon a lead barking and lunging at her but he soon settled with a couple of treats and they became friends. Visitors to the home are settled in with Reggie behind a gate untiol he has caxlmed do]wn, they are then introduced.
Out of the home Reggie has never been let off lead and he really has no lead manners. He can be reactive to things that he sees but when a GSD passsed at a distance he didn't bark.
Reggie is really a puppy in an adult body. He has had no real training. He is very attention seeking and very food orientated.
Reggie is stunning looking but small and very underweight. His claws are long and his muscles are weak due to lack of physical exercise.
We feel that he is feeding off his owners anxieties. She is very nervous around hime and he is definitely picking up on that. In a different home with calm confident people he may be a totally different dog. He needs to be taken back to basics, given regular exercise and have some boundaries set. Work will also be needed on his socialisation lead walking and recall as that will be zero.
In short a beautiful looking sweet tempered boy who deserves so much more.
