Meet Raven whose been in our care for some time and is now ready to find her forever home
Raven is 20 months old and not spayed
We took a call from a vets a few months ago after Raven had been found on the road having been run over breaking her back leg, her brother was killed.
The vets asked if we would help Raven and with the help of Jill Elizabeth Notchell we paid the huge bill to fix her leg and Raven has been nursed back to health by her foster mum Sally
Raven is a little wary of people, she will sometimes bark but once she’s had a sniff will try and cuddle plus gives plenty of licks
She loves spending time in the garden with humans, she likes routine and settles well at night
Raven will bark if somebody is outside or knocks the door but settles once introduced
Raven has lived with another dog while with her foster mum, she needs a gentle introduction to other dogs but once confident she is a friendly pup, she would benefit from having a doggie companion
Raven is frightened of small people so an adult only home is best
Raven has lived with a cat and could do again if introduced carefully but does have a high prey drive
She has good basic training and follows commands and is treat oriented
Raven is keen to go out for walks and is a very active dog, she would ideally suit a home that is very active
She will need a home where the adopters can continue the training her foster mum has been doing, Raven needs further training and socialisation with people and dogs as will bark but is easily distracted
Raven deserves the very best home where she can enjoy the rest of her life.
