Ralphie is an absolutely gorgeous 18 month old male German Shepherd who at the moment is in kennels, which unfortunately is stressing him out. He is good with other dogs but will shy away if the other dog is vocal. He met our volunteers 3 GSD and was a bit nervous around them. He never showed any aggression of any nature towards them.
We have been informed that he is good with children as he has lived with an 8 year old. He has not had a good start in life due to the fact he lived with a Husky for a number of months who was aggressive towards him. We believe that this is why he is so timid. He was re-homed and has lived with his new owner for 3 months. Tragically though the owner has discovered that her daughter is allergic to dogs and therefore she has reluctantly had to part with him.
Ralphie is not neutered or micro chipped. Our volunteer can honestly say that Ralphie will make an ideal companion. He just requires the love and attention that this beautiful dog deserves. He needs to be re-homed ASAP as he is not doing well in the kennels.
Update: Our Volunteer was so worried about him in kennels that he has now picked him up and he is settling in to his home and getting on great with his 3 dogs. He said he is an absolute pleasure to take out, just a lovely boy who wants to feel secure and be part of a loving family.
