Meet Rakia, a lovely 2 year old girl looking for a home due do a change in her previous owner's circumstances. Rakia is an Anatolian/German Shepherd cross who originally came from Bulgaria. She has a very gentle and caring nature and loves cuddles. Rakia is very people friendly but she's nervous around young children so could only be rehomed with older children/teenagers.
Rakia is generally good with other dogs but she will resource guard her food and toys in the home so she would prefer a home with no other dogs or somewhere with boundaries in place. She cannot live with cats as she tends to chase them.
This clever girl listens to her handler- she has good recall when off lead and will come back for tasty treats.
Rakia is ready to find a family who can give her the attention she needs, some lovely walks and a comfy sofa to cuddle on.
