Quinn - North Yorkshire

Quinn - North Yorkshire
Quinn is a fine tall neutered 7 year old male. He has come back to the Rescue through no fault of his own. Adopters own female dog would not accept Quinn and they part with him very reluctantly. His size can make him seem quite intimidating and initially he appears quite full on, but underneath he is a real softie. He is living with fosterer’s own male and female GSD quite happily though he should go either as a single dog or with a female who is capable of being the boss. He loves people and company but like many GSD’s should be introduced to strangers with initial caution. Once he knows you are a friend he will fuss around asking to play. Quinn needs a dietary supplement. This is inexpensive but very important and as long as he gets this he is a healthy and happy dog. Quinn is full of fun and really fills the house with his big temperament. He walks well on the lead and previous owners say he has excellent recall. He is housetrained and can be left for up to 3 hours without a problem. Though his long legs could walk all day he will settle nicely after an hour’s walk and lay happily in the company of his family. He is not destructive in the house or car. A highly intelligent and loving boy.
