3 Year old Takka is sadly looking for a new home. Taken in by his present owners from a bad situation it was only ever meant to be a temporary solution. The time has now come to find this lovely boy his forever home. 4
The volunteer found a slightly bigger than average entire boy who appears to be in excellent condition. He is a very intelligent lad who is responsive to commands and has really good eye contact. He has done scent work in the past so uses his nose well.
He met her really nicely giving her a good sniff but took treats really gently. He got excited when asked to pose for photos and did jump up but nothing excessive.
We are told that he is fine when out,and doesn't react to anything. The volunteer didn't see any cats dogs or people when she took him for a walk so we can only take the owner at his word. He does pull on the lead and every lampopost had to be marked.
In the volunteers opinion Takka is an easy rehome, he has boundaries and manners in place he is intelligent and as loing as there is a leader in his new home he will settle fine. He would like to live with an active family who want to take their dog with them,
