Beautiful Poppy a much loved and cared for girl who is sadly up for re homing due to spats with the older bitch in the household. Our assessor was greeted with a bark and then a obligatory sniff then more than happy to say hello and get a fuss. Poppy is a great family dog and is well trained both on and off the lead. Whilst out on a walk she waited patiently for our assessor to get ready to go out, waited at the doorway and was a very good girl on the lead. She walked passed barking dogs in the gardens, with no reaction although we didn't see any dogs face to face on the assessment walk we are told that Poppy does need careful introduction to other dogs and is still work in progress getting her to settle around them. Poppy is a super doop all round shepherd and it is devastating for the family that the two dogs have started to react to each other. As the Lurcher bitch is 11 years old it is only fair that she stays where she knows and Poppy as she is young and bright will surely find a new adoptive home where she can live as the only dog. Poppy is microchipped, vaccinated and neutered.
