Poppy has just celebrated her 3rd birthday and is looking to find a new home due to owners hearts ruling their heads when they rescued Poppy a few months ago as they felt she wasnt having the best of life, mainly living in a shed in her previous home. In their care they have done their best to get this girl back on track weight wise, she still can be stiff on her back legs through not having the exercise she deserved at an early stage but she has become a lovely family dog who plays tug with the children and is very well behaved around them. Sadly they feel Poppy wont get their full attention as one of the children has developed asthma. Going forward Poppy will need a loving home where they can continue life in a normal environment. Poppy is now in foster care and she appears very good around other dogs and is doing well off lead and isnt showing any lameness from "normal" walks. Poppy is used to toiletting in the garden but hasnt yet learnt that this can be done on walks and she may have the odd number 2 in her crate. Again this would need addressing going forward but who can blame this girl when she has spent most of her life in a shed. Our volunteer saw a lovely dog in a busy family home and she was a very sweet and has loads of potential.
