This young girl has only been in her current home for just 4 months where owner has found a GSD isn't for her and she cant cope with such a large bouncy girl. Our assessor was greeted with a bark and a lot of jumping around and could immediately see that Poppy hasn't had much done with her at all. She is excitable and definitely lacks discipline, especially on the lead BUT she is only 17 months, a bright intelligent girl who in the right hands will blossom once Poppy realises what is being asked of her and a consistent message is being given for basic training and socialisation. Best of all once she has the pleasure of long walks and gets her energy levels under control we feel Poppy will be a different dog. She is very good around children 10 years plus. Is unknown around cats. Plays nicely with a family members large breed dog but on the whole not really seen many dogs out on walks. Poppy did live with another dog in her previous home (her sister) so again once introduced should be fine. PS: Poppy's ears both come up, but most of the time one is down unless her attention is gained.
