Meet Poggers, a beautiful and bouncy 7 months old boy looking for a new home. Poggers is a typical young GSD – he's giddy and playful and he still has a lot to learn.
Poggers will bark when someone knocks on the door but he's happy to meet new people. He does tend to jump up and mouth –as puppies do- so his new family will have to teach him not to, especially since it looks like Poggers will grow up to be a big boy. He loves treats so they can be used as a training tool. This young boy is not keen on being left alone and can be a little destructive. This is mostly due to his young age and his needs not being fully met. A confident owner and the right amount of exercise will help him settle.
Poggers has lived with young chidren and cats before. He has never lived with another dog but shows no signs of agression towards dogs he meets when out on a walk. He's strong on the lead and his recall needs some work. Poggers is very good, unless there are distractions around and his recall goes out the window !
Overall, Poggers is lovely and lively young dog who needs someone to pick up his training and give him the time and attention he needs. He deserves a fresh start and will make a fantastic family companion.
