Sam is beautiful 5 year old male who is just a delightful boy whose thrived in the care of his foster dad
Sam has been passed from one home to another so having had 5 previous homes his next home must be a forever home
Sam has previously lived with another dog but we think he would be best as an only dog where he will get all the attention
He has lived also with children so could do again as long as they are over 10 as Sam is big and could push smaller ones over without realising
This is what Sam’s foster dad said
Sam arrived at mine wearing a muzzle but was happy to come straight up to me for a stroke and I removed the muzzle without any issue
Sam has proven to be the perfect house guest, very gentle, sweet and loving takes treats politely and has no issue over food
He can be left for 2-3hrs and is happy to see you on return
Sam can like lots of GSD’s can react to other dogs while out on a walk, mostly little dogs who are running around barking off lead, I have found the calmer you stay the quicker he calms down
He will bark if the odd man comes to close
He did pull on the lead but I’ve done heal work training and he’s now much better, I use an easy walk harness which works well
He can be anxious on walks, he loves playing ball but I’ve only let him off lead in a secure field
He would need a calm confident experienced GSD handler who will work on building his confidence and with somebody who is interested in training him
If he’s adopted in Plymouth area I would be happy to continue the training sessions and he could also come to my classes
