This stunning girl is Pimms, an 11 month old, entire, German Shepherd looking for a new home as she has a tendency to chase sheep. This isn’t an issue for many but Pimms lives on a farm so you can imagine the issue. She has never done any harm to any sheep but she does like to see them run!
Other than the sheep issue (dogs should be on lead near livestock anyway on walks) she is, as our volunteer described her, a “stunning” dog. Pimms has good basic training knowing sit, wait and heel among others. She is housetrained and has attended puppy classes.
Pimms is good with people of all ages and only jumped up once when she met our volunteer. She currently lives with 4 other dogs and gets on well with them. Being a farm dog she has been around horses as well as chickens, it’s just the sheep that catch her interest. She has never been around a cat but may be able to be introduced.
Pimms is an amazing girl and if she could just give the sheep chasing a rest she would not be being rehomed (I also think our volunteer would have quite happily stowed her away in her car!) so if you are interested please get in touch.
